About Me

My name is Mark Miller and I am a singer/songwriter originally from Orange County, CA and now residing in the Sacramento, CA area. I am a father, husband, son and brother and in December, 2006 my life was forever changed when I was diagnosed with a primary brain tumor – a grade 3 malignant glioma. I [...]

Hanging In…

Just an update on the personal front. The River of Faith album is out there as you know – thanks to those of you who have purchased copies – I’m glad I can share my music with you. It really means a lot to me – I hope you are enjoying the music [...]

Update on Keegan and My Treatment

Keegan is doing really good. He had a bit of an issue with jaundice for several days that we were monitoring closely but that seems to be ok at this point. We took him to the doctor just to have him checked out. Everything looks great but he had us go to [...]

The obvious desired outcome is to observe shrinkage but in 90% of the cases the tumor either maintains the same state/configuration as before the treatment started or grows. [...]

2 Steps Forward…

One step backward! Isn’t that the way life seems to be sometimes? Well, I haven’t had a focal seizure for nearly 2 months now and I was at work today in a meeting and my left leg started to twitch. At first I didn’t think much of it – after all, all [...]

Oncologist Appt and UCSF Film Review

For some reason I hit a wall yesterday. I’m not sure why but it is eerily reminiscent of the way I felt on several occasions while going through radiation and taking daily chemo. I feel fatigued and have just a general malaise. It’s hard to describe. It feels like you have [...]
